In 2008, Nkunzi Investment Holdings, together with management, acquired Unsgaard Packaging, which secured Nkunzi Unsgaard’s position as one of the few fully B-BBEE-rated companies operating in the fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.

In 2012, NSP Unsgaard (Pty) Ltd became a proud subsidiary of The Lion Match Company (Pty) Ltd.
